I work at the point where AI standards meet real African businesses. My focus is turning new technology into practical systems that owners can trust, understand and control.
WebMCP caught my attention because it solves a real problem. AI agents are starting to browse, compare and book on behalf of customers, but most websites give them nothing to work with except buttons and guesswork. WebMCP lets a website hand those agents a short, labelled list of actions instead, with clear inputs and clear rules.
It is early. Chrome, Edge and ChatGPT Desktop support WebMCP in trial or preview form, and Firefox and Safari are discussing it. That is exactly why now is the time to get ready.
